Rest, Reset and Rejuvenate

March 9-12, 2023

Investment: $999 in a glamping pod

Join us March 9-12, just before the Spring Equinox, to solidify our winter rest, listen for the stirrings of Spring energy within us, and tend the soil of our inner landscape for Spring rejuvenation. The rhythm of our three days together will mirror the nature of this seasonal transition: rest, reset, and rejuvenate.

REST, RESET and REJUVENATE

REST: On Thursday, we will gather together around the campfire to meet, greet and connect, followed by a restful practice with ayurvedic foot oiling to nourish us at the end of winter. We align and awaken our senses to the winter energies of the season with some Yin yoga and nature bathing. There will be space for journaling and reflecting and we will offer prompts for contemplation of the passing winter.

RESET: Reset begins with an invigorating hike to move some winter stagnation and warm our bodies in preparation for a playful scavenger hunt, small group inspiration and conversation, guided walks in nature and Yoga Nidra with Sankalpa.

REJUVENATE: Gather around the fire on Saturday night to welcome, honor and celebrate the spring energy quickening beneath the surface. On Sunday morning, we offer a warming asana practice of belonging to the larger ecosystem and a final sharing of our envisioned spring landscapes. What is taking root to anchor us this spring so that we may show up with grace and ground and clarity?

This experience will include:

  • Asana

  • Yin Yoga

  • Ayurvedic self-care ritual

  • Guided nature bathing

  • Awakened rest (Yoga Nidra)

  • Winter hikes

  • Outdoor soaking tubs

  • Bonfire gatherings

  • Scavenger hunt

  • Hammock hangs

  • Community meals

  • An abundance of space for reflecting, journaling, walking and being in nature

Emily Steiner is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and E-RYT 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. She has been studying and practicing yoga for over 20 years. For her, yoga has proven to be a path to greater self-awareness and healing. It is an honor to be able to share the tools of yoga and its benefits with others.

“Go outside and play” was the motto in her childhood home, and so she did. The forest helped her develop her sense of wonder and danger, and it taught her to trust her intuition. In nature, she discovered the natural rhythms of life and its cycles. She found a way of being that made sense and felt healing to her. She learned to lean into the rhythms of nature and let that wisdom guide her. In the forest, she feels connected to something greater than herself. She has since made it a practice to spend as much time in nature as possible.

Now she guides others on their journey to well-being and to trusting their own deep knowing. By spending time in nature, we can reconnect with our own true nature and with that of the whole. We are the medicine.

Aly MacLatchy is an E-RYT 500 hr Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor & a teacher, student, grower, & maker of herbal medicine.

She loves teaching yoga because she believes that yoga generously reveals our essential belonging by empowering us to dance our individual dances of authenticity and integrity. To her, yoga is an invitation and a discipline to embrace ourselves and each other, while encouraging us to participate in our evolution, consciously. Teaching is an honor and a privilege she holds with great reverence and levity.

Her practices of yoga and herbalism provide her with the strength, stamina & rest needed to stand at the frontier of who she thinks she is and what she is becoming…and of who she thinks WE are and what WE are becoming.

Remembering what it is to be human on the earth and reclaiming our human place in the family of everything is the heart of what she offers & teaches. She has a line of herbal topical products & teas to inspire & empower your whole self-care and she makes small batch, fresh plant remedies for her Wheel of the Year Apothecary CSA - members receive 8 shares of seasonally curated remedies & rituals delivered across the US on the solstices, equinoxes & cross-quarter days.

We are divine relational beings, in conversation with everything. Living & practicing in rhythm with nature, as nature, is an open-ended path of healing & wholeness.
