Each class will focus on a specific topic, including breath and movement, a pranayama practice, and a meditation or visualization. You will be offered the opportunity to plan a weekly self-care commitment related to the class topic.
January 10: Prana and Vitality:
Get clear on what is prana, how to recognize it in your body, and how to maintain your pranic health.
January 17: The Gunas: Learn how the 3 qualities of energetic forces (the Gunas) affect your whole being and how you can be “Chief of your Gunas”
January 24: Your Energy Balance Account. Get clear on how daily life is a steady stream of activities that either nourish your prana or deplete it and how to use this information to ensure a consistent positive pranic life style.
January 31: Putting it all together: The wheel of vitality: Come to understand the meaning behind Annie Dillard’s wise words – “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
