Wall Yoga with Heather

Thursdays 1:30-2:30 pm, September 7-28

4-week session

A wall can be a wonderful tool of support for our yoga practices. Walls provide structure, containment, safety, shelter, limitations, support, and definition. As an aid in your yoga practice, a wall helps you articulate precise alignment and form in each pose, supports you when you want to relax, assists you when you want to try a new posture, and motivates you to energize your body more fully.

Another good reason to learn yoga at your wall is that it is something you can practice outside the yoga class. It’s portable, practical, and any clean wall will do. Have you ever wanted to lie on the floor and stretch in your hotel room while you were on a trip, but the floor just didn’t look all that clean or appealing? You don’t have to do yoga on the floor. It is a perfect time to do wall yoga. Or maybe you are not dressed in yoga clothes and you are feeling a little stressed, wall yoga is the next best way to experience your yoga tools. Wall yoga can help with backaches, relieve tired legs, softly open the back of legs, and may help with knee pain reduction.
