Yoga for a Healthy Spine

4-week class series with Joelle

March 25 - April 15, Saturdays @ 1 pm

Every movement and posture in a Yoga class affects the central axis of the spine. In this class, we will focus on developing greater awareness of posture, the movements of the spine, the muscles that support the health of the spine, and how to bring this awareness to a yoga practice (and our daily life). We will explore postures that bring strength and fluidity to our Yoga practice to support spine health, and how tight muscles and postural habits may affect spine health. You may leave with a greater understanding of how to support a beneficial and safe Yoga practice tailored to your experience.
