Gaia Balbi
Yoga and Meditation Teacher, End of Life and Grief Doula, Shamanic Practitioner, and Energy Healer.
"Through intentional rituals and practices, you have the power to transform your wounds into wisdom and your pain into the doorway back to LOVE"- Gaia.
Gaia's soul-healing journey began 18 years ago when she found herself in her darkest hours, facing the inevitable reality of grief, difficulties, and sorrow, praying for her life to end because it was unbearable to live it. It was at this, at her lowest point, that by grace, she stepped on a Yoga mat and received the most precious gift: thegift of being. It was an invitation to stop and surrender. This allowed her to connect with her true SELF and realize the wholeness and fulfillment that exists within all of us, regardless of external circumstances.
Stepping into this awakening path stripped her of all her beliefs about whom she thought she was and what life was about, opening her heart to know and remember the universal truth that we are not our bodies, thoughts, emotions, feelings, or what happened to us, but we are conscious energy. Energy, as Albert Einstein proved, "…cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed".
She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to understanding and experiencing theconscious energythat we are. This led her to explore the Yoga tradition, which changed her life and eventually led her to complete her first teacher training in 2012. In 2019, after her third trip to India, she became a 500-hour Master teacher of Yoga and Meditation. Through her devotion to her meditation practice, she reconnected to her lineage and the practices of her native Peru, becoming a Shamanic Practitioner. Her exploration of energy also led me to study and practice different energy healing modalities, eventually becoming a Reiki Master. Finally, I wanted to understand my conditioning and modern Western ways, which inspired her to study at the University of Vermont and become a Grief and End of Life Doula.
Through spiritual lineages and traditions, she realized that while her story may differ from others, our shared root cause of suffering is forgetting who we are. As a society, we mistakenly believe that happiness is our ultimate goal. Still, the truth is that our purpose is to evolve, grow, and reconnect with the creative energy of LOVE. From her struggles, she emerged as a more joyful, loving, and alive human being, not defined by painful experiences but by her true SELF.
Through her journey of self-realization and witnessing the collective suffering, she has discovered her Dharma (purpose) of guiding and teaching tools and practices to help individuals bravely navigate their inner suffering, heal, evolve, and ultimately discover their eternal nature of love.
Gaia's deepest desire is for you to mend your heart and experience life as it is supposed to be… full of harmony, freedom, and joy, even amid the challenges.
