Susanne Gonzalez

When her children went off to college, Sue became a regular at her HOA gym, where she sampled yoga along with boot camp, Tabata and power sculpt classes. A few years later while training for her first half marathon, she experienced yoga’s ability to help her avoid injury and imbalances as the miles increased. It was her curiosity about the best way to care for our bodies that lead her to yoga teacher training at Beloved Yoga, where she completed her 200-hour certification.

Sue believes that by learning how our bodies work and listening to what they need, we can reduce limitations and live more fully. From her neighborhood gym to her corporate office to the Beloved Yoga studio, she particularly enjoys exploring the benefits of yoga with new practitioners. She shares a simple (not easy) yoga practice that will help you build a range of motion, balance and strength from your first class.
