Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 on October 17th
Blending music, storytelling, and sound meditation, Tom Teasley explores the connection between rhythm, sound, and well-being. Drawing on his travels as a cultural diplomat for the U.S. Department of State throughout the Middle East, Asia, and beyond, he shares the stories and origins of instruments encountered along the way. Through performances on handpan and world percussion, Tom discusses rhythmic structures and sonic textures that can support relaxation, focus, and mindfulness. An immersive sound experience is woven throughout the program, and participants may be invited to engage in simple interactive rhythmic activities as desired.
