$300.00 Ayurveda - Sept/Oct 5-week series

with Ileana Gonzales

5-week series: Thursdays 6-8 pm, September 23 & 30, Oct 7, 14 & 21 ONLINE

This 10-hour course covers the core principles of Ayurveda as the sister science of Yoga. Yoga teachers will come away understanding how key Ayurvedic principles and practices, when combined with yoga and meditation, can enhance the Yoga experience and improve overall health and wellbeing. After all, Yoga and Ayurveda are both self-realization methods, and they were designed to be complementary to each other.

Ayurveda defines wellbeing as the harmony of the body, mind, and higher Self. Any yogi can benefit from a daily routine, or sadhana, ritualizing and elevating self-care as a way to practice Yoga. As teachers, we can guide our students to the appropriate practices, and customize their yoga practice for maximum results. This class is an opportunity to develop a deeper and more profound understanding of how to weave the practical wisdom of Ayurveda into any daily sadhana.

Yoga Teachers will learn about the history and principles of this timeless health science, its fundamental principles, as well as experience creative tools to enhance their yoga teaching. The class provides you with all you need to start weaving Ayurvedic wisdom into your offerings. It is an opportunity to develop a deeper and more profound understanding of how these two ancient sciences are interconnected. Explored together, Ayurveda and Yoga can offer us transformative tools that foster greater health and vitality.
