Join us for a free monthly Mothers Circle, a welcoming space to connect, share, and grow in community. Together with the Beloved Yoga sangha and LeShanta as our Circle Keeper, we hold space for reflection and shared growth. Each month, a unique theme or guest facilitator is offered to support your maternal journey, from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond. See the schedule below

We’ll meet on the second Sunday of each month at 11:00 AM.

Babies and little ones are welcome. Each gathering will include light movement, a relaxed “sip and chat,” and plenty of space for sharing stories, laughter, and support.

Come as you are, stay for connection, and leave feeling nourished in both body and spirit.

Bess O'Keeffe will be our guest speaker for November and the topic is Newborn Care: Supporting Baby’s Body from Fascia to Fingers.

LeShanta Baker

LeShanta Baker is a maternal-child health nurse and perinatal movement instructor who believes the maternal journey mirrors the path of personal growth. She guides women and birthing parents in cultivating peaceful mobility, mindful movement, and confidence in their whole self, body, mind, and spirit, throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

A Florida native and graduate of Florida A&M University’s nursing program, LeShanta has supported families in hospitals, birth centers, and community settings across the country since 2007. Her own experience of overcoming infertility and welcoming her “miracle” son deepened her commitment to guiding others with compassion.

She is a NASM-Certified Stretching & Flexibility Coach (SFC), a certified Dancing for Birth™ Instructor and Trainer, a Board-Certified Case Manager (CCM), and was previously certified as a Labor Doula and Infant Massage Instructor, experiences that continue to inform her holistic approach to perinatal movement and education.

Bess O'Keeffe

Bess has been a student of yoga for over two decades and a teacher since completing her yoga teacher training in 2015. Vinyasa was the first style of yoga she was introduced to, but her interest shifted to prenatal and postnatal yoga as her own family grew. Her primary goal in teaching these types of classes is to foster a sense of community and connection among attendees. Her second goal is to help mothers and families prepare for childbirth and parenthood in every class, from childbirth education, relaxation techniques, and tools for nervous system regulation. Outside of teaching, Bess is a busy mother of three little boys, certified breastfeeding specialist, and doula.
