Fidget cubes aren’t just for kids! This grown-up version invites a variety of sensory experiences and includes meaningful bricks to inspire insightful life lessons. In this workshop, you’ll build a beautiful and functional Fidget Cube from LEGO® bricks to help you connect with your senses and soothe your soul.
Fidget cubes are great tools for staying grounded and present during activities such as virtual work meetings or outings with friends.
Takeaways from each side include:
~ Spinner: a classic “fidget spinner” with whimsical decor reminds us of the power of mental reframing
~ Levers: nesting repositionable levers in bright primary colors nudge us to return to the basics when we’re stuck
~ Take Flight: tactile lattice with a rotating butterfly and gold stars encourages us to celebrate the positive and welcome transformation
~ Gears: interlocking moving gears demonstrate the beauty of effortless flow while offering a reminder not to force a fit
~ Car: functional tires paired with iridescent headlights and textured bricks provide wisdom that there is more than one path in any situation
~ Openness: smooth discs amid open space underscore the importance of unscheduled space on your calendar and in your life
This workshop is designed for adults and teens and is an ideal connection activity for parents and teens to do together. Bring a friend, or come on your own and make a friend!
