This workshop offers a comprehensive blend of theory and practice, providing both physical and mental benefits. By the end of the workshop, you will have navigated through two Yoga tools that are profoundly beneficial to the nervous system. You will be ready to explore them in your own practice, and add both, Mantras and Restorative poses into your Yoga sessions.

Friday Night Master Class: Restorative Yoga, Mantra & Sound with Lorena

Join us on Friday for an evening session that will reveal the transformative benefits of Restorative Yoga interwoven with Mantra and healing sounds. While you delve into the effects of the practice, allow yourself to linger in your subtle layers, exploring the gentle shifts and sensations within. Experience profound peace, a deep release of the body, and an overall sense of harmony that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and connected.

Saturday and part of Sunday will be dedicated to learning about Restorative Yoga, including its impact on the nervous system and its ability to reduce stress while fostering inner peace. We will practice setting up Restorative Yoga poses, learn the use and arrangement of props, and understand when and how to adapt and modify poses for maximum benefit. We will also learn about the benefits of the poses, and practice sequencing a session.

On Sunday, we will delve into the origins of Mantras, their scientific basis, and the reasons, timing, and methods for practicing them. We will explore the connection between Yoga and Mantra, and the devotional aspect of Mantra and Kirtan (call and response chanting of Mantras). Additionally, we will work with our voices and learn various mantras and their meanings.

(PLEASE NOTEThis workshop is nonrefundable but it is transferable. If you cannot attend, you must inform Beloved Yoga at admin@belovedyoga.com prior to March 13 to get an account credit.)
