Midday Flow is designed to re-energize your day. There will be a mindfulness practice, a gentle warm-up, and then an energizing flow to help illuminate the rest of your day. We welcome any level of yoga practitioner.

Kristina Davies

When Kristina first took a yoga class in 2011, she felt that yoga was what she had been looking for all her life. She loves the calm, focus, and strength that she gains from yoga. Drawn to the balance between effort and ease, challenge and rest, she loves how yoga has taught her to be compassionately present both on the mat and in the world. In 2018 she completed her RYT-200 training at Red Brick Yoga in Greensburg, PA. In her class, yogis will  be encouraged to focus on the breath and its ability to allow us to encounter the present moment. Kristina is dedicated to deepening her personal practice and to accompanying her students on their own yoga journey.

Joelle Van Over

Joelle is an E-RYT 500 hour and YACEP from Yoga Alliance, and holds an C-IAYT certification from the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and received her 800 hour  therapeutic yoga practitioner training at Beloved Yoga. She is excited by structural and functional anatomy and the Krishnamacharya, Desikachar,  Mohan linage, is inspired by Peter Marchand, and has many hours of advanced training in these traditions. Joelle loves her private teaching where she collaboratively creates individual practices designed to meet the needs and goals of each student. She also loves the energy of her classes and sharing a joyful practice integrating alignment, movement and breath to find strength, flexibility and greater balance within each practice. Joelle believes that everyone comes to the mat with everything they need to experience yoga fully and to progress on their own journey, experiencing ease, stability and joy along the way. Sharing this path, and simply being present to the beauty in each day motivates her teaching. Reading ancient yoga texts and philosophy is an anchor for Joelle, as she finds joy in deepening her own practice so that she may share more fully on and off the mat. Joelle is grateful to the many teachers who guide her and looks forward to sharing with many more. Joelle has practiced yoga and meditation for over 30 years and is always awed by its teachings and how every practice is new and lifts us in our daily lives. Joelle loves to connect with her son and daughter, loves the companionship of her loving dog, Luna, and nature always absorbs her in awe and wonder.  She is grateful for her mountaineering, rock climbing and kayaking experiences.

Christina Unger

Christina began her journey into the world of yoga over 20 years ago and although she expected it to impact her external body, she never realized how it would put her in touch with her heart and spirit. She believes that the philosophy of yoga was a part of her all along.

Yoga balances the analytic and artistic sides of Christina. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases for 13 years, and her love for science is balanced by her passion for nature, art, and dance. Her yoga practice is inspired by her training in ballet and the multiple styles of yoga she has studied over the years, as well as her experiences as a Nurse Practitioner. She also finds inspiration for her classes in nature.

Her wish is to use her experience and knowledge to guide students toward optimal wellness through gaining awareness of body, mind, and spirit.

When not at yoga, Christina gravitates to the water with her love, Christopher, where she finds peace and a sense of wonder. She also enjoys being outside on her bike or playing tennis. She loves spending time with her family.

In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner and trained gut-directed clinical hypnotherapy provider, she is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT-200, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), and is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Over the years she has been inspired and taught by many talented teachers. She completed her 200-hour training at Easton Yoga with Alicia Rambo Wozniak. Christina completed a 200 Yoga Alliance registered training with Yoga Farm Ithaca. Christina has attended workshops with Doug Keller, Sean Johnson, Max Strom, Jamie Elmer, Elena Brower, Jason Crandall, Sean Corne, Jurian Hughes, Natasha Rizoupoulis, and David Swenson. She extends gratitude to all her teachers!

“I continue to go with the flow… who knows where the current will carry me?”
