PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is in person only.

Join Mary Richards, M.S. in yoga therapy, for a 2.5-hour class centered around the seat of movement, i.e., the pelvis. She will discuss the essential anatomy and kinesiology of the body's basin, focusing on the pelvic floor. She will guide us through movements to pacify cranky Sacroiliac and hip joints and share techniques to support leaky bladders.

This dynamic class includes asana intended to:

  • reveal the inherent rhythms of the low back and sacrum,
  • challenge the myofascial tissues that surround the hips, and
  • work the energetic chain from the soles of the feet to the pelvic floor.

Mary will share modifications for each pose to meet our individual needs. In addition, we will practice a restorative pose and breathing technique to relax after the active series. All are welcome! 2.5 CEUs.
