$40.00 Softening into the Layers: Hatha, Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing

Join Allison and Lorena for an evening of gentle movement, deep rest, and the soothing resonance of Sound Healing. Together, we will set an intention for the arrival of the Fall season—deepening your connection to self as you soften into the season of release.

Through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and restorative stillness, you will be guided inward toward a state of calm presence and deep ease. As you settle, healing vibrations will support relaxation, inner balance, and renewal. The warm glow of candlelight and intentional pacing create a sense of safety and softness—allowing you to meet yourself exactly where you are.

The evening will conclude with a soothing sound bath, featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and gentle mantras. These vibrations are offered as a supportive layer to help settle the nervous system and invite a feeling of grounded calm. You’ll leave feeling peaceful, restored, and deeply supported.

This experience is open to all levels and offers a space to reconnect with yourself, restore your energy, and simply be. We look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Allison Caras

Allison Caras, PhD, has been on the yoga path for over 20 years and believes she has only begun to scratch the surface. She approaches the practice with humility, reverence and a playful curiosity and offers classes and private sessions in the same way. Students are provided with space and time to tap into the present and explore what nourishes them.

Allison is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) with Yoga Alliance. She completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga District in Washington, DC, the 300-hour yoga teacher and yoga therapy foundations training here at Beloved Yoga, and is currently in the Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda 800-hour Yoga Therapy certification program. She also holds a PhD in Spanish Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University and went on to teach at The George Washington University. During the pandemic, she decided to leave academia and start her own company to promote workday wellness, reduce chronic stress and prevent burnout using the wisdom, science and art of Yoga and Ayurveda. Although she left language teaching and linguistic research behind, she is still passionate about languages and how they can foster human connection and self-reflection.

She is excited to share the tools that yoga offers through her accessible and spiritually-oriented yoga classes. When participating in Lorena's class, you can expect a full intention, a meditative flow that can be done by everyone.
