Our well-being is in our hands to a large extent. Pranayama, Mantra & the Pursuit of Peace

Saturday, June 15, 2 - 5 pm, $60 (or included with full weekend rate)

The heart of classical Hatha Yoga is Pranayama. When combined with the practice of mantra - repetition of a meaningful sound or phrase in simple terms - breath work becomes doubly powerful. Pranayama works with our subtle body experience and physiology. Mantra works with the mind and the words that frame our reality. In this workshop, we will explore how these two practices can support each other to guide us to deep peace within, using lecture and practice.

Yoga & Chronic Lifestyle Diseases

Sunday, June 16th, 10 am - 1 pm, $60 (or included with full weekend rate)

Lifestyle is the greatest contributor to our wellbeing over time. Disease happens on the background of our daily life: what we eat, how we move, when we sleep, our mental state, and more. Yoga and Ayurveda view lifestyle as the ground on which healing can happen. In this workshop, we will look at some important insights from these ancient systems on how we can work with chronic lifestyle diseases - for prevention or therapy.

Sunday, June 16th, 2 - 5 pm, $60 (or included with full weekend rate)
