Together, you will traverse the breathtaking state of Kerala exploring lagoons on a houseboat, feeding elephants, sighting rare plants and birds, forest bathing, visiting spice gardens, and imbibing in the vibrant culture and cuisine. Part 1: Rejuvenation
Karnataka | October 6 - 13
Experience the old-world charm of an Ayurvedic Heritage Wellness Center set amidst 13 acres of lush greenery. Nestled amidst this natural haven are cottages (Manas) reminiscent of vintage designs from the 18th and 19th centuries, lovingly transported from Kerala.
Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, with a lineage stretching back over 5000 years, this sanctuary seamlessly blends tradition with splendor, offering a sacred space of tranquility and profound spirituality. Here, the transformative powers of Ayurvedic remedies, Yoga, meditation, and Pranayama weave their healing effects, guiding us into a realm of serenity and self-discovery.
Nourishing both body and soul, we will indulge in the delights of Ayurvedic cuisine. Kerala: Kumarakom - Thekkady - Fort Kochi | October 13 - 18
Experience the essence of Kerala, a state on the Malabar Coast. It is often hailed as "God's Own Country." You will immerse yourself in the serene backwaters of Lake Vembanad in Kumarakom, explore the verdant landscapes of Periyar National Park in Thekkady, and soak in the vibrant ambiance of Cochin. Spend blissful nights on the tranquil lake and amidst the lush surroundings of the sanctuary, indulging in cultural encounters and communing with nature. We will complete our journey by diving into the captivating history and heritage of Fort Cochin, overlooking the majestic Arabian Sea.
Kumarakom | October 13 - 15
Sail away in Lagoons & Lakes
Indulge in the captivating allure of Kumarakom, nestled on the serene banks of Vembanad Lake. Explore the tranquil waters, verdant mangrove forests, and lush coconut groves that define this enchanting village. Delight in the backwater houseboat tour, offering encounters with migratory birds and vibrant greenery, revealing the natural beauty shaped by the Western Ghats. We will uncover hidden tales and local insights and interact with the locals on a guided village walk.

Thekkady | October 15 - 16
A Journey through Spice Trails and Jungle Paths
Thekkady, a quaint hill town, prides itself on being one of the largest wildlife preserves in India, and is dotted with clusters of hills, elephants and ayurvedic spice-scented plantations. Explore the natural wonders of Ayurveda's native landscape in spice gardens adorned with spices commonly used in daily cooking. Experience the wonders of wildlife on a boat ride across Periyar Lake, followed by a rejuvenating forest bathing experience guided by a local guide. Interact with native elephants, touching their skin, feeding them bananas, or even enjoying a shower from their trunks. Go backstage with Kathakali dancers as they prepare to tell their stories through subtle facial and graceful movements.

Cochin | October 17 - 18
Soak in the sea and cultural heritage
The striking port city of Cochin is magical. Flanked by the Western Ghats mountain range to the east and the majestic Arabian Sea to the west, Cochin occupies a very strategic location and has been a significant trading zone and attractive tourist destination since time immemorial. The tradition and reputation of this enchantingly quaint port city are maintained to date with its ancient churches, cathedrals, temples and forts. Dotted with art cafes, Fort Kochi is a perfect blend of Kerala’s cultural roots and creativity.

Born and raised in the Himalayan Valley, Varnita discovered the transformative power of yoga during her teenage years. After moving to the U.S., she deepened her practice, blending her Indian heritage with her new cultural experiences further enhanced through training under leading Vinyasa and Hatha yoga gurus on routine travels to India. Varnita's passion for yoga led her to complete her 200 YTT with Beloved Yoga and soon after, she launched a kids' yoga initiative in her backyard to help them stay emotionally healthy and creative during the pandemic. Thrilled to be part of the Beloved community, Varnita finds it truly rewarding to serve her neighborhood community and enjoys learning and sharing her love for yoga and Ayurveda in service to kids, youth and adults Rooted in her passion to make Ayurveda accessible in the U.S. Varnita founded Be-Veda, (https://www.be-veda.com/home) an Ayurvedic wellness brand offering organic teas sourced from India to improve gut health, immunity and relaxation. Packed with vitamins and healing, Ayurvedic spices in tea blends provide calm, clarity, and a mind-body balance. Currently studying to be a certified holistic Ayurvedic coach, Varnita is dedicated to creating sustainable practices of Ayurveda and yoga. With a deep-rooted love for India, she immerses herself in wellness practices and cultural explorations that inspire her to share the art of healing with others.
