At a Death Café, people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support group or counseling session. Together, we create a space for open conversations that increase awareness of death and encourage us to make the most of our finite lives. Death Café is an international movement. If you would like more information, please visit deathcafe.com

At Beloved, we host a Death Café on the first Wednesday evening of each month, offering a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for discussions around our shared mortality. Over tea and refreshments, we gather for open, participant-led conversations about death and dying, helping to normalize these discussions and deepen our understanding of the role mortality plays in our lives. Everyone is welcome. Some guests attend once, while others return month after month.

This is a free event.

Kristina Davies

When Kristina first took a yoga class in 2011, she felt that yoga was what she had been looking for all her life. She loves the calm, focus, and strength that she gains from yoga. Drawn to the balance between effort and ease, challenge and rest, she loves how yoga has taught her to be compassionately present both on the mat and in the world. In 2018 she completed her RYT-200 training at Red Brick Yoga in Greensburg, PA. In her class, yogis will  be encouraged to focus on the breath and its ability to allow us to encounter the present moment. Kristina is dedicated to deepening her personal practice and to accompanying her students on their own yoga journey.
