Victoria “Tori” Daniel believes that yoga is a practice for realizing our true potential. As each of us accesses our own inner knowing and purpose, we can show up with greater confidence, love, and joy in our relationships, work or personal pursuits, and community. We can become our own loving guide.
Tori’s perspective on yoga as a tool for transformation and healing stems from her experience as a manager, talent coach, and wellness practitioner in the US Government for 15 years. She blends yoga, neuroscience, and principles for emotional intelligence to help others find their own unique purpose and strengths. Beloved has been at the heart of her personal experience with yoga for emotional healing and leadership. She completed the 200-hour teacher training under the mentorship of Beloved instructor Jamilee Wagenseil and continues to draw inspiration from her mentor Maryam Ovissi. Tori is in the process of completing her 500-hour teacher training and regularly studies with leading yoga instructors, including Shari Friedrichsen, at the Himalayan Institute (HI).
Tori is particularly interested in the healing power of the breath and likes to invite students into a deeper exploration of the subtle body and key energy centers, or chakras, believing each of them offers a journey to unlock hidden capacities. She tends to teach gentle and creative flows that offer Beginners and students of all levels the tools to slow down so we can really pause and connect with ourselves. She also loves music and poetry to quiet the mind and awaken the spirit.
When she’s not on the mat, she enjoys spending time with her husband Steven and little cat Sherlock, exploring nature, or writing and creating art.
